Professor (m / f / d) for UX Design and Content Creation

The SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences is a private, state-recognized and accredited university with locations in Berlin, Dresden and Hamburg. Six schools combine modern management and entrepreneurship, media and creative industries, technology and IT, music and sound design in modern German and English-language courses. At the SRH universities, students learn in a purposeful and independent manner according to the specially developed study concept CORE (Competence Oriented Research and Education). To strengthen our team, we are looking for a "Professor for UX Design and Content Creation” in half-time (50%) and within the framework of a permanent employment contract as of April 1, . The position can be combined with the 50% position also vacant for Berlin in the same field. In this case, however, travelling between Berlin and Leipzig is essential.

• Representation of the competence field UX Design and Content Creation at the Leipzig location
• Focus on UX design, user interface design / media production in teaching and research, both in basic and advanced concepts

Your profile :

• A university degree in a relevant field is preferred, e.g. UI / UX design or interaction design, media informatics, media design, motion design
• Advanced knowledge of audio, video and MR production
• Focus on the conception, design and implementation of innovative design and interaction solutions in various application areas
• Answers to development and design questions in the new media environment with forward-looking concepts, e.g. in the field of AI, social media and society
• Advanced knowledge in the development and application of human-centered design in innovation generation is desirable
• Above-average professional and scientific qualifications in the media sector
• Very good command of English and the ability and willingness to teach courses in English
• Enthusiasm for passing on your practical experience in teaching and applied research to our students as a future junior researcher
• Strong communication, cooperation and teamwork skills
