Job summary

Schaeffler is seeking a Professional Quality Systems & Digitalization expert to own and evolve the Quality Systems landscape for Vehicle Lifetime Solutions in Germany. You will drive digital transformation, coordinate global rollouts, and collaborate with Business, IT, and SAP teams.

The role requires a university degree, 4+ years in related fields, strong English skills, and experience with SAP/SAP S/4HANA. Expect international projects, flexible work dialogs, and a competitive package.

Qualifications

• University degree with at least 4 years in Quality Systems, Quality Assurance, Digital Transformation, ERP implementations, or related fields.
• Experience leading international, cross-functional projects with robust governance and change management.
• Strong knowledge of SAP/SAP S/4HANA or comparable ERP landscapes.
• Very good English, German a plus; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously develop the Quality Systems landscape within Vehicle Lifetime Solutions, ensuring governance and value.
• Drive the digital transformation of Quality through process digitalization, automation, and data-driven solutions.
• Manage lifecycle of Quality Systems including requirements, testing, releases, deployments, and training.
• Develop, implement, and maintain IT systems and digital tools supporting Quality Assurance.
• Lead IT project planning and execution in QA, Reporting, and Analytics.
• Design and optimize end-to-end quality processes and integrate with ERP environments.
• Interface between Business, Quality, IT, Digitalization, and SAP/ERP programs to translate requirements.
• Identify and implement digitalization initiatives including AI-enabled use cases.
• Lead international stakeholder alignment, system rollouts, and transformation projects.

The Vehicle Lifetime Solutions division of Schaeffler provides comprehensive repair solutions and services for the global mobility ecosystem. Your Key Responsibilities

• Own and continuously develop the Quality Systems landscape within Vehicle Lifetime Solutions, ensuring effective governance, standardization, and sustainable business value
• Drive the digital transformation of the Quality organization through process digitalization, automation, innovative technologies, and data-driven solutions
• Manage the complete lifecycle of Quality Systems, including requirements management, testing, releases, deployments, training, and continuous improvement
• Development, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems, digital tools, and solutions supporting Quality Assurance
• Lead the planning and execution of IT projects in the areas of Quality Assurance, Reporting, and Analytics
• Design and optimize end-to-end quality processes and ensure their seamless integration into enterprise applications and ERP environments
• Act as the key interface between Business, Quality, IT, Digitalization, and SAP/ERP programs, translating business requirements into scalable solutions
• Identify, prioritize, and implement digitalization initiatives, including automation, advanced analytics, and AI-enabled use cases
• Lead international stakeholder alignment, system rollouts, and transformation projects while ensuring compliance with quality standards, governance frameworks, and corporate requirements

Your Qualifications

• University degree combined with at least 4 years of relevant professional experience in Quality Systems, Quality Assurance, Digital Transformation, ERP implementations, Process Excellence, or comparable functions
• Strong hands-on experience in implementing, further developing, and managing systems, releases, rollouts, and change management initiatives in international and cross-functional project environments
• Profound understanding of business processes, system governance, and end-to-end process integration, along with sound knowledge of SAP, SAP S/4HANA, or comparable enterprise application landscapes
• Very good English language skills, both written and spoken; German language skills are considered an advantage
• Excellent analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills combined with a strong passion for continuous improvement, digital innovation, automation, Artificial Intelligence, and data-driven solutions
• Strong communication skills, professional stakeholder management, and a proactive, structured, and solution-oriented working style with a high degree of ownership
