Job summary

Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co. KG is seeking a senior leader to manage the HR-IT product landscape from Berlin, guiding cross-functional teams through digitalization projects. You will align the HR-IT roadmap with corporate strategy and steer international IT initiatives.

Strong leadership and fluency in English and German are essential. As a global technology company, you will collaborate with senior stakeholders to shape product vision, manage budgets, and negotiate external partnerships

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience leading teams and leaders, with strong leadership skills.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in HR IT.
• Technical system understanding SAP HCM, Employee Central and SuccessFactors.
• Several years of experience implementing digitalization projects.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools, such as Scrum, Kanban, JIRA.
• Strong change management and transformation project capabilities.
• Good understanding of enterprise integration and ERP interactions.
• Excellent written and spoken English and German.

• Collaborate with HR IT teams to deliver integrative solutions with interdependencies.
• Work with PCM, SCM, and Enterprise Applications leaders.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Provide functional leadership and direction to the different HR-IT-Product teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Steer 5 Product Owner and support them in their technical leadership role
• Lead the management of the HR-IT roadmap, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and HR strategy.
• Facilitate the delivery of international IT projects, guiding the teams to ensure successful execution.
• Act as a point of contact for stakeholders, facilitating discussions and decisions regarding product features, timelines, priorities, expectations, and the product vision.
• Hold full responsibility for the HR-IT budget and hold the Product Owners in the Product Group accountable for their figures.
• Define the international strategy for internal and external workforce together with the leadership team
• Take responsibility for negotiating contracts with external service providers and ensure contract terms and durations are properly monitored.
• Collaborate with other HR IT Teams to ensure integrative solutions, especially where interdependencies affect multiple teams/solutions.
• Work closely with the leadership team consisting of the People & Competence manager (PCM), the Scrum Master (SCM), and the Product Line Manager of Enterprise Applications.

Your Qualifications

• Completed studies in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification.
• Extensive experience of 10+ years of leading teams and leading leaders using strong leadership skills incl. managing complex situation
• Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role, specifically within HR IT.
• Technical system understanding SAP HCM, Employee Central and SuccessFactors
• Several years of experience in implementation of digitalization projects.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools, such as Scrum, Kanban, JIRA.
• proficient in managing transformation processes and implementing change management strategies
• Good understanding of enterprise integration, and the specific challenges related to interacting with complex ERP environments is very beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and German.
