Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co. KG is seeking a seasoned leader to manage HR-IT product teams and shape the international IT roadmap.

You will steer Product Owners, drive digitalization efforts, and align initiatives with HR strategy while coordinating cross‑functional delivery with stakeholders. The role requires strong leadership, deep HR-IT knowledge (SAP HCM, Employee Central, SuccessFactors), and excellent English/German communication.

Qualifications

• Completed studies in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification.
• Extensive leadership experience (10+ years) managing teams and leaders.
• Proven Product Owner/Manager experience, esp. in HR IT.
• Technical understanding of SAP HCM, Employee Central and SuccessFactors.
• Experience with digitalization projects and Agile methods (Scrum, Kanban, JIRA).
• Excellent written and spoken English and German.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Provide functional leadership and direction to the different HR-IT-Product teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Steer 5 Product Owner and support them in their technical leadership role
• Lead the management of the HR-IT roadmap, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and HR strategy.
• Facilitate the delivery of international IT projects, guiding the teams to ensure successful execution.
• Act as a point of contact for stakeholders, facilitating discussions and decisions regarding product features, timelines, priorities, expectations, and the product vision.
• Hold full responsibility for the HR-IT budget and hold the Product Owners in the Product Group accountable for their figures.
• Define the international strategy for internal and external workforce together with the leadership team
• Take responsibility for negotiating contracts with external service providers and ensure contract terms and durations are properly monitored.
• Collaborate with other HR IT Teams to ensure integrative solutions, especially where interdependencies affect multiple teams/solutions.
• Work closely with the leadership team consisting of the People & Competence manager (PCM), the Scrum Master (SCM), and the Product Line Manager of Enterprise Applications.

Your Qualifications

• Completed studies in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification.
• Extensive experience of 10+ years of leading teams and leading leaders using strong leadership skills incl. managing complex situation
• Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role, specifically within HR IT.
• Technical system understanding SAP HCM, Employee Central and SuccessFactors
• Several years of experience in implementation of digitalization projects.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools, such as Scrum, Kanban, JIRA.
• proficient in managing transformation processes and implementing change management strategies
• Good understanding of enterprise integration, and the specific challenges related to interacting with complex ERP environments is very beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and German.
