A Day in the Life

We’re a mission‑driven leader in medical technology and solutions with a legacy of integrity and innovation. In this role you will be responsible for Strategic Pricing within the GIGA countries (Greece, Israel, Germany and Alpines). Your home address will serve as your primary workplace (home office). Occasional attendance at the Medtronic office in Meerbusch may be required for meetings.

Responsibilities
  • Analyzing pricing data and elaborating tactical and strategic recommendations
  • Leading pricing strategy projects in cross‑functional, country specific and regional environments
  • Being the key contact person with pricing strategy topics for our Operating Unit Leaders
  • Conceptualizing, consulting and implementing pricing specific strategies and initiatives in close collaboration with Operating Units, local and EurAsia Pricing & Contracting and other internal and external stakeholders
  • Conducting workshops and leading working groups on pricing strategy and its implementation with different stakeholders on the GIGA level (Germany, Israel, Greece, Austria & Switzerland)
  • Collaborating with especially other Portfolio and Enterprise Account Pricing Strategists and Pricing & Contracting organizations in the fields of cross‑business or cross‑country deals
  • Consulting on rebate schemes
Required Knowledge and Experience
  • Degree in Business Administration or similar study degree
  • Leading projects with diverse stakeholders
  • Advanced in preparing & driving management decisions
  • Knowledge in the field of pricing strategy & business analytics
  • Fluent German and English written & verbal communication skills
  • Advanced IT skills in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS PowerBI

Experience in the healthcare environment or similar operative pricing, tendering and/or contracting experience would be advantageous.
