As our People Operations & Systems Specialist, you ensure efficient, compliant, and data-driven People Operations at Kleinanzeigen. You’ll combine deep operational expertise with system ownership of HiBob to create seamless processes and outstanding employee experiences across the full lifecycle. Working cross-functionally with Payroll, People Partners, Talent Acquisition, and Finance, you ensure data quality, compliance, and continuous improvement in how we manage and use People data.
This is a hybrid role based in Berlin-Charlottenburg. You report to the Head of People Operations & Business Partnering.
What You’ll Do:
- Act as the first point of contact for Kleinanzeigen's employees on People-related questions, policies and procedures.
- Own and continuously optimize People processes across the employee lifecycle, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and exceptional employee experience.
- Lead system- and process-related improvement projects, identifying opportunities to simplify and digitalize People Operations.
- Act as the subject-matter expert and system owner of HiBob, driving automation, data integrity, workflow improvements, and providing first-level support and training for users to ensure a consistent, high-quality experience.
- Prepare and issue People documents such as contracts, amendments, and certificates, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with Payroll and Finance requirements.
- Partner closely with Payroll, Finance, and People Partners to ensure seamless data flow, compliance with German labor law, and proper documentation for the Works Council.
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards together with People Analytics to provide insights that support decision-making and audits.
Who You Are:
- You bring several years of experience in People Operations, HR Administration, or HRIS management, ideally within a digital or tech-driven environment.
- You have solid knowledge of German labor law, People processes, and administrative procedures, with a strong sense of accuracy and confidentiality.
- You’re proactive and solution-oriented, with a passion for automation, digitalization, and continuous improvement in People operations.
- You’re structured, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- You communicate clearly and effectively in both German and English and enjoy collaborating with stakeholders across teams to create a great employee experience.
