Responsibilities

• Research and design modems for optical communication networks (access, data center, metro, long haul networks)
• Develop new signal processing concepts and architectures
• Closely cooperate with product development teams and transfer key design and architecture to the product
• Participate in academic conferences, publish and present latest research achievements in conferences or journals, such as OFC, ECOC, JLT, PTL, etc.

Qualifications, Experience and Competencies Requirements

• PhD in electrical or communication engineering
• Experience with C/C++, Python, machine learning
• Experience with optical and wireless communication systems (modulation, equalization, synchronization, forward error correction)
• Open mind, good communication and teamwork, and good presentation skills
• Fluency in English (written and oral)
