Job summary

J&T Express Germany GmbH in Langenfeld is seeking a hands-on Operations Team Lead to guide our warehouse teams and ensure smooth daily operations. You will lead the shift, organize workflows, and support inbound, scanning, sorting and shipment preparation.

Fluent Mandarin Chinese and good English are required; German is a plus. You should be comfortable on the warehouse floor, monitor quality, train new staff, and report to Warehouse Management.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations, logistics or parcel handling.
• First team lead, shift lead or warehouse coordinator experience preferred.
• Willingness to work hands-on on the warehouse floor.
• Willingness to work shifts, including night shift.
• Fluent Mandarin Chinese and good English required; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

Your Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support the warehouse team during your shift


• Organize daily workflows and assign tasks


• Support hands-on operations, including inbound, scanning, sorting and shipment preparation


• Monitor operational quality and ensure processes are followed correctly


• Identify and solve operational issues during the shift


• Support the onboarding and training of warehouse employees


• Report operational topics to Warehouse Management


• Communicate with Mandarin-speaking colleagues and stakeholders

Your Profile

• Experience in warehouse operations, logistics, parcel logistics or a similar environment


• First experience as a Team Lead, Shift Lead, Foreman or Warehouse Coordinator is preferred


• Strong hands-on mentality and willingness to work directly on the warehouse floor


• Reliable, organized and solution-oriented working style


• Willingness to work in shifts (Nightshift included)


• Fluent Mandarin Chinese is required


• Good English skills are required


• German is an advantage, but not mandatory


• WMS experience and a forklift licence are an advantage
