Jobbeschreibung

Based: The role will be primarily based in our Cologne office. We work a hybrid model with a minimum 60% of time based in the office (3 days for a full time employee). The role may also potentially involve travel to enable involvement with client deliveries.

About us

BTS is a global professional services firm headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, with some 1200 professionals in 34 offices located on six continents. We focus on the people side of strategy working with leaders at all levels to help them make better decisions, convert those decisions to actions and deliver results.

At BTS we develop customised business simulations and other learning solutions and then we facilitate learning journeys directly with our clients in a setting that incorporates humour, fun and competition.

The role of Operations Coordinator at BTS

This is a junior role within the organisation, well suited to someone looking to progress in a professional service setting.

In this role you will:

Initially partner with more experienced colleagues to understand the role, how we work with clients and our systems.

Then you’ll be allocated to work with your own internal account teams, providing logistical and administrative support to coordinate and deploy our programmes to regional and global clients.

As you learn and develop, you’ll take on more complex and involved programmes of work, working with multiple stakeholders to ensure each client project is run successfully.

You’ll also play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the Cologne office. This includes helping to coordinate office operations, managing logistics for materials used in client deliveries, and supporting IT and facilities setup both locally and across Europe. You’ll help ensure the workspace remains well-equipped, professional, and welcoming — contributing to a smooth and positive experience for both colleagues and clients.

Variety is key in all our roles. You’ll work on multiple projects at one time, across different industries, and with different internal teams. The work is responsive to the projects and clients so the pace can fluctuate.

This is all done in a team-based setting where our culture of freedom and responsibility empowers you to contribute from your first day.

Is this for you?
  • Have a strong customer service ethic.
  • Enjoy problem solving and working out where to find the answers you need.
  • Are resilient and adaptable, open to navigating change and ambiguity.
  • Can work at pace and are able to manage your workload and balance shifting priorities.
  • Bring professional maturity, are confident, curious and proactive, ready to ask questions and always keeping an eye on what comes next.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and an ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Feel confident accurately maintaining data and using multiple digital platforms.
  • AND can have fun with colleagues and clients as you go, then you might just be who we’re looking for…

Please note that we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role so you will need to have the right to live and work in Germany. You will also be asked to work from the Cologne office so should live within a reasonable commuting distance or be prepared to move prior to commencing in the role.

Language Requirements

Fluency in both English and German is essential, with excellent written and spoken communication skills (C1/C2 level in both languages).
