Overview

BioTalent are delighted to partner with an innovative client in the PET imaging and radiotheranostics space, in their search for a Medical Director for their Cardiology division. This is a newly created position as a result of company expansion.

Responsibilities

• Reporting directly to the Chief Medical Officer, your responsibilities will include :
• Managing overall strategy for all Cardiovascular assets
• Leadership of a small, global team
• Oversight of medical and safety aspects of clinical trials underway in Cardiovascular indications
• Provide input to launch strategies, product life cycle management and indication expansions
• Collaborate with relevant health authorities to facilitate early access, registry or compassionate use programmes
• Staying informed of any clinical, scientific or regulatory developments and gathering intelligence to ensure potential impacts to the development plan are mitigated.
• Represent the business at scientific congress and contribute to the development of presentations and key data summaries.

Qualifications

• A medical degree, ideally with specialisation in Cardiology
• Expertise in drug development spanning phases I-III
• Prior experience working in the field of PET imaging or radiotheranostics would be advantageous
• Willingness to travel (approximately 30-50%)
