ÜBERGEORDNETER ZWECK DER TÄTIGKEIT

Der Hauptzweck dieser Position besteht darin, die effiziente und rechtzeitige Lieferung verschiedener Frachtarten durch sorgfältige Planung und Überwachung von Transport- und Lieferaufgaben sicherzustellen. Diese Rolle umfasst auch die Koordination von Lager- und Lieferaktivitäten, die Optimierung von Transportrouten und -ladungen sowie die Verwaltung der erforderlichen Dokumentation und Genehmigungen. Schließlich ist der Stelleninhaber dafür verantwortlich, die Schnittstellen zwischen Produktion, Lager-/Verteilzentren, Transport und Baustelle zu managen, wobei die Koordination der Kundenanforderungen und der Einsatz von Subunternehmern berücksichtigt werden.

WICHTIGE PFLICHTEN UND VERANTWORTLICHKEITEN

• Verantwortung für die Planung und Überwachung von Transport- und Lieferaufgaben, um die termingerechte Lieferung von Schwer-, Übermaß- und allgemeiner Fracht sicherzustellen.
• Koordination von Lager- und Lieferaktivitäten durch Verwaltung des Lagerkalenders und der Lieferzeiten.
• Optimierung der multimodalen/ Straßenverkehrsflüsse in Bezug auf Routen und Ladungen.
• Überwachung der ordnungsgemäßen Umsetzung von Transportgenehmigungen und erforderlicher Dokumentation, z.B. durch Unterstützung des Firmentransports.
• Koordination der Rückführung leerer Kabeltrommeln in Zusammenarbeit mit der Werkslogistik.
• Optimierung von Planungs- und Verfolgungskonzepten.
• Verantwortung für wichtige Logistikkennzahlen gegenüber internen und externen Stakeholdern.

QUALIFIKATIONEN & ERFAHRUNGEN

• Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Maschinenbau oder gleichwertig, Logistik, Supply Chain, Transporttechnik oder eine gleichwertige Qualifikation.
• Mindestens 3 Jahre relevante Berufserfahrung im Bereich Schwer-, Übermaß- und multimodaler Transport.
• Beherrschung der deutschen und englischen Sprache auf C1-Niveau oder höher.
• Sehr gute Kenntnisse in CAD.
• Gute MS Office-Kenntnisse, insbesondere MS Excel und PowerPoint.

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of various cargo types by meticulously planning and overseeing transport and delivery tasks. This role also involves coordinating storage and delivery activities, optimizing transport routes and loads, and managing necessary documentation and permits. Finally, the job holder is responsible for managing the interfaces between production, warehouse/distribution centers, transport and construction site, taking into account the coordination of customer requirements and the use of subcontractors.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsibility for planning and overseeing transport and delivery tasks to ensure on-time delivery of heavy-, oversize and general cargo shipments.
• Coordination of storage and delivery activities by managing the warehouse calendar and delivery timelines.
• Optimization of multimodal/ road transport flows regarding routes and loads.
• Overseeing the proper implementation of transport permits and necessary documentation, e.g., by supporting company transport.
• Coordination of the return of empty cable drums in cooperation with the plant logistics.
• Optimization of planning and tracking concepts.
• Responsibility for key logistics figures vis-a-vis internal and external stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Successfully completed studies in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, Logistics, Supply Chain, Transport Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant professional experience in heavy-, oversized multimodal transportation.
• Proficient in German and English at C1 level or higher.
• Proficient in CAD.
• Good MS Office skills, MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Client oriented mindset, focusing on aligning project goals with client needs and expectations.
• Proactive communication and effective problem-solving skills.
• Team player, stress resistant with strong conflict resolution skills.
• Demonstrated negotiation skills as well as perseverance and assertiveness.
