POSITION SUMMARY:

As part of our legal team, you will interact with various teams across the company including Marketing, HR, Engineering and Sales. You will join the Legal Team at our HQ in Bad Homburg, Germany.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• You will be responsible for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating corporate and commercial agreements, marketing agreements, software licensing agreements, NDAs, and employment contracts, etc. You will also be tasked with template creation, drafting internal policies, and providing general legal advice to all business functions.
• You will provide support on a broad range of legal topics such as general corporate, compliance, commercial and other transactions, and ad hoc projects.
• You will set up new processes, draft new templates, and create new workflows for the Legal team, but also for collaboration with other stakeholders.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• An LLB/JD or equivalent degree in law and 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in contract law and software licensing.
• Strong understanding of technology laws.
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Skill in providing pragmatic legal advice, having business know-how and can support the business in a practical and compliant manner.
• You are organized, detail-oriented, efficient and can work in a fast paced, multicultural environment.

• Expertise in copyright, trademark and patent law
• A good understanding of the creative industry
• German language fluency
• Active membership in your local jurisdiction.
