The University of Lübeck and the Medical University Center Schleswig-Holstein (UKSH) are seeking a Leading Medical Physicist to join the Division of Interventional Radiotherapy and Brachytherapy at the Department of Radiation Oncology.
Our center specializes in multi‑disciplinary cancer treatment and cutting‑edge radiotherapy techniques, including VMAT, IMRT, IGRT, Radiosurgery, FSRT, SBRT, TBI, and Interventional Radiotherapy (Brachytherapy). We operate two state‑of‑the‑art linear accelerators (TrueBeam® and Ethos®) with advanced features such as respiratory gating, ExacTrac Dynamic®, and a dedicated planning CT (go.Sim®). The Division of Interventional Radiotherapy and Brachytherapy is equipped with a HDR‑Afterloading Device (Flexitron®, since 2023) and a mobile 3D CBCT (ImagingRing®, Elekta). Treatment planning is conducted using Oncentra Brachy® (Elekta) and VariSeed® (Varian). We treat a broad spectrum of malignancies, including head‑and‑neck cancers, uveal melanoma, breast, lung, esophageal, liver tumors, gynecological, prostate, rectal, anal cancers, skin cancers and sarcomas.
