Job summary

CYBEX, based in Bayreuth, Germany, seeks a seasoned Solutions Architect to lead its Ecommerce, Mobile Apps, and internal web projects. You will drive tech delivery, design end-to-end architectures, and coordinate with cross-functional teams across Salesforce Commerce Cloud, PIM/DAM, and modern open-source stacks.

You will guide capacity planning, uphold coding standards, and oversee security, testing, and documentation while communicating with IT leadership and business owners in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on experience in Solution Architecture and Development in Salesforce Commerce Cloud / Salesforce B2C Commerce.
• Solid knowledge of MACH (Microservices, API-First, Cloud-Native and Headless) architecture.
• Experience with open-source stack (Java and Spring Boot or React and NodeJs, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS or Azure Cloud).
• Proven leadership experience in managing cross functional teams.
• Good understanding of mobile development platforms and ability to lead technical discussions.
• Experience in project and stakeholder management is a strong plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English; German language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive the tech delivery and End-to-End Solution Architecture for projects in Web & Mobile area (Salesforce Commerce Cloud, PIM and DAM, Mobile Apps and Internal Web Applications).
• Drive continuous improvements through backlog-driven design and delivery with Business Owners; coordinate with internal and external teams.
• Support budget discussions and drive optimization around usage for Web & Mobile Area.
• Manage capacity planning for reporting line to deliver roadmap backlog.
• Oversee code quality, define coding standards, security, test automation, and documentation.
• Present solutions and estimates to IT leadership and process owners for approval.
• Ensure adherence to IT processes and culture canvas.

Your seat to fill:

• Lead a team of Software Engineers / Developers in the area of Ecommerce, Mobile Apps and Internal Web Applications
• Drive the tech delivery and End-to-End Solution Architecture for projects in the Web & Mobile Area (Salesforce Commerce Cloud, PIM and DAM, Mobile Apps as well as Internal Web Applications) in time and with quality
• Drive continuous improvements for the above-mentioned systems through application design and delivery of the backlogs defined by the Business Owners by coordinating the solution design and development with the internal and external teams
• Support the Head of D2C Solutions with the budget discussions and drive optimization around the actual usage for the Web & Mobile Area
• Manage capacity planning for the entire reporting line for the planned roadmap to share capacity available from IT team to deliver the backlog/roadmap
• Oversee code quality, define coding standards and guidelines, security, test automation, technical documentation and fix packs/updates on supported applications
• Present solutions and estimates to IT leadership, business process owners, and service owners in order to gain approval or rejection for the realization
• Ensure adherence to IT processes as well as policies, principles, and guidelines and role-model the Digital & IT culture canvas

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• Hands-on experience in Solution Architecture and Development in Salesforce Commerce Cloud / Salesforce B2C Commerce
• Solid knowledge/awareness of MACH (Microservices, API-First, Cloud-Native and Headless) architecture is highly desirable
• Practical experience in the field of open-source stack (Java and Springboot or React and NodeJs, Docker, Container Orchestration tools like Kubernetes, AWS or Azure Cloud) or a combination of these is advantageous
• Proven leadership experience in managing cross functional teams
• A good understanding of mobile development platforms, enabling you to lead technical discussions and manage deliveries effectively
• Experience in project and stakeholder management is a strong plus
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, especially in dynamic, fast-moving environments
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal; German language skills are a plus
