Job summary

CYBEX is seeking a strategic Digital Transformation Lead in Bayreuth to drive modernization across Product Development. You will identify opportunities to simplify processes, implement AI-driven solutions, and create data‑driven workflows that boost efficiency and collaboration.

The role requires leading the evolution of the tool landscape, developing KPIs and executive dashboards, and translating business needs into scalable, automated digital solutions.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, Digital Transformation, Data Analytics, Project Management, or a related field.
• Several years of professional experience in Digital Transformation, Business Operations, Process Improvement, Analytics, PMO, Product Development, or a comparable role.
• Strong understanding of digital technologies, workflow automation, business process optimization, and modern collaboration platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Project Management, Portfolio Management, reporting, and analytics tools.
• Experience with AI solutions such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, or similar technologies.
• Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to convert complex data into actionable business insights and management decisions.
• Experience developing KPIs, dashboards, reporting frameworks, and executive‑level performance metrics.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and drive change across multiple functions and organizational levels.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and challenging established ways of working.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with pragmatic execution.
• Fluent English skills; German is considered an advantage

Responsibilities

• Act as the key driver of digital transformation within Product Development, identifying opportunities to simplify processes, improve collaboration, and increase organizational efficiency through modern technologies and digital solutions
• Lead the evolution of the Product Development tool landscape by evaluating, implementing, and optimizing digital platforms, workflows, and AI-driven solutions that enable smarter ways of working
• Drive the transition from traditional manual processes toward integrated, automated, and data-driven ways of working across Product Development functions
• Evaluate and introduce modern technologies, including Project Management platforms, workflow automation solutions, and AI applications such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, and similar tools to improve productivity and decision‑making
• Own the continuous improvement of reporting and analytics capabilities by developing meaningful KPIs, dashboards, portfolio insights, and executive reporting solutions
• Translate business requirements into scalable digital solutions, ensuring tools and processes effectively support Product Development objectives
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive activities and reduce administrative effort through digital workflows and AI‑supported solutions
• Collaborate closely with cross‑functional stakeholders to drive adoption of new tools, processes, and digital capabilities across the organization
• Act as an internal ambassador for digital innovation and AI, supporting teams in understanding, adopting, and effectively leveraging emerging technologies
• Monitor technology trends and industry best practices, proactively identifying opportunities that can strengthen Product Development performance and competitiveness
• Support the Senior Director Project Management in advancing digital capabilities, data transparency, organizational efficiency, and transformation initiatives across Product Development
