A global technology company based in Munich is seeking an individual to work with the Data Governance Lead in defining and implementing global data standards. The role involves monitoring data quality, coordinating with stakeholders, and guiding Business Data Stewards for sustainable improvement. Ideal candidates will have a relevant degree or equivalent experience, strong SAP knowledge, and fluency in both German and English.

Responsibilities

• You work together with the Data Governance Lead to define global data standards and ensure their implementation
• You continuously monitor data quality in the systems and regularly coordinate on the desired standards
• You clarify necessary changes with the relevant stakeholders and implement them in close collaboration with MDM as well as the Business Data Stewards / Technical Data Stewards
• You guide the Business Data Stewards in data analysis and correction to ensure sustainable improvement in data quality
• You serve as the central point of contact for all global entities regarding information quality standards

Qualifications

• You have a relevant degree or possess equivalent practical experience
• You have very good knowledge of process management as well as project management
• You have detailed knowledge of the SAP system structure (processes and data model) and bring application‑related experience with SAP CX (CRM know‑how is an advantage)
• You have solid knowledge in data management, including data modeling (e.g., UML) and the systems used for this purpose
• You have knowledge of SQL as well as experience with SAP Query (desirable)
• You have business fluent German and English skills
