A Japanese multinational trading company is looking for a Japanese and German speaking Junior Sales Associate to join their expanding team in Frankfurt, Germany. The focus of this role is to maximize customer satisfaction. The candidate will start working as a Sales Administrator to learn about the products.
TYPE: Permanent, full-time
WORKING HOURS: 8:30-17:00 Monday to Friday (flexible working possible)
SALARY: €40-45k negotiable depending on experience, plus bonus and good benefits

Responsibilities
- Handling purchase orders and logistics management.
- Representing the company for all customer enquiries.
- Processing orders and facts, inputting data into the database.
- Preparing declarations for government if necessary.
- Reviewing stock-in goods in the database based on warehouse reports.
- Issuing sales invoices and chasing overdue invoices.
- Providing support to the accounting department during month‑end closing.
- Discussing issues with forwarders when necessary.
- Preparing shipment volume reports and forecast reports for suppliers in Japan.
- Participating in stock takes and solving discrepancies.
- Preparing quotation reports for customers.
- Creating monthly profit and inventory reports.
- Presenting, promoting and selling machine parts (e.g., screw bolts and metal parts) to existing and prospective customers primarily in the automotive sector.
- Managing customer and supplier correspondence mainly in Asia.
- Requesting quotations (RFQs) from suppliers and negotiating terms.
- Visiting customers and suppliers outside Germany, sometimes in Asia, for negotiation on technical, pricing, and quality issues.
- Expediting the resolution of any customer problems and complaints.
- Developing projects such as PPAP, environmental and other documents required by customers, evaluating production processes.
- Preparing a 'Monthly Sales Activity' report for the manager and MD.
- Making yearly sales plans and revising sales figures every three months.
Qualifications
- Business level fluency in Japanese, English and German.
- More than 2 years of business experience.
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to travel within Europe and overseas.
- Must have the right to work in Germany.
