Job summary

A hereinafter is an IT Support Specialist role at AUTO1 Group in Germany. You will provide business-critical IT support to end-users at car production centers, onboarding new starters and offboarding leavers, and maintaining IT infrastructure.

You’ll collaborate with teams to improve processes and serve as on-site IT contact at production centers in Hemau and Ketzin. We expect comfort with Apple devices, Windows OS, and cloud tools, plus strong English and German.

Qualifications

• Experience with Apple devices and Microsoft Windows OS.
• Familiarity with cloud tools like Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.
• Service oriented and a team player.
• Self-reliant with strong multitasking in fast-paced environments.
• Proficiency in English and German.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-house IT support to end-users at production centers.
• Onboard new starters and offboard leavers.
• Configure hardware and software across platforms.
• Document incidents and manage tickets in a ticketing system.
• Contribute to corporate IT infrastructure development.
• Act as on-site IT contact at production centers (Ketzin/Hemau).
• Train colleagues on IT systems and best practices.
• Set up and troubleshoot IT equipment and infrastructure.
• Identify improvements to IT processes with Corporate IT.

Your new Role

• Provide business-critical in-house IT support to end-users in our car production centers
• Perform onboarding of new starters and offboarding of leavers
• Handle hardware and software configurations across multiple platforms
• Duly document all incidents and requests and manage a key ticketing system
• Work with your colleagues on the development of the Corporate IT infrastructure
• Act as the on-site IT contact at our production centers (Ketzin/Hemau), helping local teams stay productive and ensuring reliable day-to-day IT support
• Train and guide colleagues on IT systems, tools, and best practices
• Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot IT equipment and infrastructure at our production centers
• Identify and implement improvements to IT processes, working with local teams and Corporate IT to support the wider organization

Your Skills

• Juniors and mid-level are welcome to apply
• Experience with Apple devices and Microsoft Windows Operating Systems.
• Familiarity with cloud tools like Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or other SaaS platforms.
• Being service oriented and a team player
• You are self-reliant and operate with confidence and thrive when working independently. You maintain the overview and high standards even in fast-paced environments.
• Proficiency in English and German
