Zusammenfassung

BCIC Swiss GmbH is seeking an on-site IT Support Specialist in Germany to deliver first- and second-line support for Windows and macOS, Office, and basic networking. You will troubleshoot, resolve issues, and maintain ticket updates to ensure timely resolutions.

You will collaborate with vendors on complex AV issues, install and upgrade hardware, printers, and peripherals, and communicate status clearly. The role emphasizes hands-on support and timely problem solving.

Qualifikationen

• Relevant IT support experience or equivalent.
• Experience with ticketing systems and SLAs.
• Familiarity with Windows and macOS environments.

• Provide first- or second-level contact and problem resolution for customer issues.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors to remediate complex AV issues as needed.
• Maintain timely communication on issue status and resolution.
• Keep ticket updates current for all reported incidents.
• Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows OS, Office, and Cisco Jabber as authorized.
• Support basic MacOS for Apple PC users.
• Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers and computer hardware.
• Perform remedial repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral equipment.
• Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot network connectivity and workstation issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- or second-level contact and problem resolution for customer issues.
• Work with third-party vendors to remediate complex AV issues as needed.
• Provide timely communication on issue status and resolution.
• Maintain ticket updates for all reported incidents.
• Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows OS , Microsoft Office & Cisco Jabber authorized .
• Should have basic knowledge of the Mac operating system to support Apple PC users.
• Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers and computer hardware.
• Performs remedial repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and any other authorized peripheral equipment.
• Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems associated with network connectivity and workstation hardware/software.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid work permit in Germany
• Several years of experience in the IT field
