Responsibilities

• Designing IT solutions and implementing them (including acceptance testing) in the assigned focus area, often taking into account customer project-specific requirements
• Initial focus: Atlassian Jira and Confluence
• The applications are provided by central IT
• Concepts must be created for standardized use
• Ensuring the functionality of all tools and systems in the area of responsibility
• Interface between committees, key users, and central IT
• Needs assessment and consulting for departments and projects, including requirements gathering
• Creation of use cases and decision templates
• Needs-based design of individual solutions, if necessary
• Creation of usage concepts and automations
• Market analysis and observation with regard to innovative topics and forward-looking trends in the area of responsibility
• Analysis and evaluation of enhancements for the implementation of requirements
• Evaluation of new functions in the tools in terms of user-friendliness and added value
• Consulting on the selection and use of various tools, features, and possible applications of engineering applications
• Focus on Atlassian: Jira and Confluence
• Conducting training courses and workshops for users and key users
• Independent processing of support requests from employees, customers, and development
• Supporting projects and departments in the applications
• Setting up structures for projects
• Working closely with internal departments to identify requirements and develop solution concepts
• Participating in IT committees and relevant meetings
• Reviewing and evaluating new requirements in terms of their feasibility
• Creation of concepts and implementation in cooperation with the department
• Implementation of assigned work packages within the scope of IT projects in the area of responsibility
• Including system maintenance and operational implementation in coordination with the responsible project manager
• Support in the creation of process descriptions and documentation
• Creation of documentation for usage concepts, functionalities, and how-to's

Requirements

• Completed bachelor's degree in computer science or training with several years of professional experience
• Specialized training in the relevant field (infrastructure/applications)
• Good written and spoken English and German skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
• Experience in working with specialist departments and external service providers
• Several years of professional experience in consulting and application management or in comparable roles
