Lufthansa is offering an internship in the Strategy and Sustainability Team in Frankfurt. You will help shape strategic initiatives, support planning and execution, and analyze complex business challenges across functions.

You will contribute to KPI development and communicate progress to stakeholders. The role requires enrollment for the full period, studies in economics or related fields, and fluency in German and English.

Qualifications

Tasks

LHA Strategy and Sustainability Team is responsible for developing and implementing the strategy and achieving the sustainability goals, including by advising and supporting the LHA Management Board.

Your main tasks include:

• Participate in tasks of high economic and strategic relevance by supporting the planning, implementation and management of key initiatives
• Gain practical experience with a focus on structuring and analysing complex, multidimensional and cross-functional business challenges
• Contribute to the development of target systems, KPIs and measures for steering and monitoring strategy execution
• Support the communication of strategic and sustainability initiatives to specialist departments and cross-functional stakeholders
• Participate in the development of concepts, business cases and business plans to ensure the successful implementation of strategic projects

Requirements

• Enrollment for the entire period of the internship (current certificate of matriculation and written proof of compulsory internship must be enclosed with the application) or the internship between the Bachelor's and Master's degree (gap year)
• You are studying economics, industrial engineering, natural sciences or a similar field of study with an economic focus
• You are business fluent in German and English
• You are professional in MS Office applications, especially PowerPoint and Excel
• You are a team player and have a high degree of creativity, flexibility and commitment
