A leading software company in Germany seeks an Interim Project Lead for Regulatory Compliance to manage compliance projects across teams and ensure delivery of requirements. The role requires at least 3 years of project management experience and knowledge of SAP’s cloud services. This is a temporary assignment until April 2027, providing a collaborative work environment and a strong focus on compliance and customer trust.
We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.
SAP’s cloud products face an increasing number of compliance requirements across regions, industries, and markets. To meet these obligations, SAP has established a central, end‑to‑end compliance approach aligned with its Go‑to‑Market strategy and customer expectations.
In this temporary replacement role, you’ll lead the coordination of multiple parallel assessment projects, supported by an external consulting firm. These assessments analyze cloud compliance obligations against SAP’s internal controls and product standards, resulting in fit‑gap documentation tracked via JIRA.
You’ll manage the interface between SAP teams and the consulting partner, facilitate handover sessions, create and maintain JIRA tickets, and update internal tools such as the Compliance Cockpit.
The role requires handling multiple obligation analyses in parallel, each with high demand and priority. We are looking for someone with a strong service attitude and cloud solution knowledge to support product scoping and act as a central point of contact for requirement analyses related to cloud compliance.
You’ll be responsible for delivering end‑to‑end project execution for these “Analysis‑as‑a‑Service” engagements—from scoping and planning to the handover of results to other SAP teams.
Your work will directly impact SAP’s ability to meet evolving compliance obligations, enhance audit readiness, and maintain customer trust.
This position is a temporary assignment until April 2027, covering for a colleague on parental leave.
You’re a proactive and independent project manager with:
You thrive in dynamic environments and bring a service‑oriented mindset to complex regulatory challenges.
You’ll join the Integrated Controls Management team within the Governance, Compliance & Certifications group at SAP Global Security & Compliance. We translate legal and regulatory requirements into practical solutions, supporting stakeholders across the cloud value chain.
