Imaging Service Engineer I

Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking a Field Service Engineer to maintain imaging systems, install and de-install products, and nurture customer relationships within the service area.

You will travel as required (up to 100%), perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and ensure compliance with FDA and ISO 13485 while documenting activities and issues for management.

Qualifikationen

• Associate's degree in electrical engineering, electronics or computer science discipline, or equivalent experience
• Minimum one year of previous field service experience
• Knowledge of assigned equipment to provide timely repair and effective maintenance
• Active listening skills and above average customer service skills
• Sound organization and administrative skills; self-starter with ability to maintain paperwork to FDA and company required standards
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, with ability to communicate technical issues in an easy-to-understand manner
• Ability to operate job-related test equipment, including oscilloscope, meter, and diagnostic testers
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record
• Good interpersonal skills
• Reliability and ability to work independently

• Ability to work odd hours and overtime occasionally

• Ability to work in medical, clinical, and construction environments

• Ability to pass vendor credentialing requirements for hospital and facility access

Aufgaben

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on imaging systems within the assigned service area
• Perform unscheduled maintenance with technical support assistance
• Independently perform preventative maintenance and assist with unscheduled maintenance
• Install and de-install products and peripheral equipment
• Maintain effective relationships with field personnel, home office personnel, management, and customers
• Communicate with management to escape issues and customer concerns
• Complete expense reports, timecards, work orders, service appointments, start-time records, parts inventory, training, and QA/RA work
• Maintain customer service orders and internal service records according to company policies
• Communicate daily with customers to ensure resolution and follow up
• Use escalation processes and root cause analysis to resolve service delivery issues
• Complete paperwork accurately and promptly
• Maintain assigned tools, test equipment, and spare parts; return parts on time
• Promote the company's image and reputation
• Comply with applicable FDA, ISO 13485, and other regulatory requirements
• Perform other duties assigned by the Area Service Manager
