Job Details

As an ICT Support Engineer, you’ll work closely with end users to address technical issues and handle various hardware (laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices) and software systems. This role offers practical, hands-on experience with complex equipment.

Location: On-site in Ratingen, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshooting incidents on user hardware such as desktops, laptops, mobile devices (iPhones and iPads), printers, scanners, etc.
  • Installing additional software applications
  • Adding and removing printers
  • Supporting remote users
  • Providing end-user support for WiFi services
  • Basic network support
  • Imaging and re-imaging user hardware including laptops, desktops, and Citrix terminals
  • Configuring and setting up mobile devices, organizing delivery, and providing support documentation and training
  • Printer setup and support
  • Recovering user hardware during off-boarding
  • Maintaining video conferencing equipment
  • Performing regular monitoring and physical checks
  • Supporting infrastructure and business projects related to end-user equipment
Qualifications
  • 2+ years in IT infrastructure support, including hardware, software, and OS troubleshooting
  • Proficient in German and English (minimum B2)
  • Good command of Windows OS
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 troubleshooting
  • Wireless networking knowledge
  • Understanding of network protocols, server hardware, and configurations
  • Experience with Active Directory
  • Basic knowledge of LAN-WAN setups and concepts
