Hospitality Day Porter – Munich (60%)

Location : Munich Reports to : Lead Coordinator, Offices & Facility Services

As part of the Workplace & Project Services (WPS) team, the Hospitality Day Porter plays a key role in maintaining a premium, polished and welcoming office environment throughout the workday. This part‑time position (60%) focuses on supporting hospitality and cleanliness standards—especially on high‑impact, high‑visibility areas such as the 4th, 10th, and 11th floors. The role contributes directly to delivering a 5‑star employee and guest experience, in alignment with Salesforce's workplace expectations.

The Hospitality Day Porter will also collaborate with the Senior Day Porter, especially on overlapping events and larger setups.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Hospitality Focus
  • Serve as the main hospitality contact in coordination with the Senior Day Porter.
  • Ensure all high‑traffic and executive areas are immaculate, well‑stocked, and prepared for internal and external guests at all times.
  • Maintain frequent rounds during the day to tidy meeting spaces, lounges, coffee points, and restrooms.
  • Support executive meetings, leadership visits, and office events with setup, service, and follow‑up tasks.
  • Ensure that all hospitality stations (tea points, snacks, and beverages) are filled, clean, and meet our service standards.
Kitchens and Coffee Bar
  • Clean & restock coffee machines daily
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchens, running dishwashers and wiping surfaces multiple times daily
  • Refill snacks, beverages and consumables throughout the day and proactively prepare replenishment orders
  • Wash and cut fruits and vegetables as needed, following hygiene regulations
  • Coordinate small maintenance issues for kitchen appliances with the Lead Coordinator
Meeting Rooms & Function Spaces
  • Check and refresh meeting rooms twice daily with beverages, snacks, and standard amenities
  • Assist with meeting / event room setups and catering in collaboration with the M&E team
  • Monitor and report AV or furniture issues
Bathrooms
  • Maintain cleanliness of restrooms with twice‑daily checks, replenishing supplies and removing waste as needed
General Office Support
  • Ensure a tidy and presentable office environment in all visible areas throughout the day
  • Implement the clean desk policy each morning
  • Clear whiteboards (unless requested not to)
  • Report AV issues to IT Supervise third‑party service providers during on‑site operations
  • Respond quickly to urgent cleaning situations (e.g., spills, broken glass)
  • Assist with any other reasonable task as requested by the Lead Coordinator
PROFILE & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous hospitality experience required, ideally in hotel, conference, or corporate environments
  • Friendly, professional demeanor with a service‑first mindset
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both German and English
  • Self‑motivated and detail‑oriented, with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment
  • Comfortable working independently and in a team setting
  • Physically able to perform cleaning / setup tasks and stand / walk for prolonged periods
  • Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety regulations preferred
