CYBEX GMBH is seeking a strategic Head of Talent Acquisition & Executive Search based in Bayreuth, Germany. You will drive the evolution of Talent Acquisition into a strategic partner function and personally lead senior leadership hiring decisions, shaping CYBEX's growth trajectory.

You will build internal executive search capabilities, map critical talent markets, and partner with the CEO and senior leadership. Fluency in English and German is required.

Your seat to fill:

You will drive the evolution of Talent Acquisition into a strategic business partner function while personally leading the identification and acquisition of senior leadership talent that supports CYBEX's long-term growth ambitions.
As a trusted advisor to the Executive Board and senior leadership team, you will help shape the organization's future through exceptional hiring decisions and proactive talent intelligence.

Your Responsibilities:

Lead the Global Talent Acquisition Function

• Develop and execute CYBEX's global Talent Acquisition strategy.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Talent Acquisition team.
• Drive recruitment excellence across all regions and functions.
• Establish best-in-class recruiting processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Define and monitor recruiting KPIs to improve hiring effectiveness and efficiency.
• Ensure an outstanding candidate experience and strong employer branding presence.

Lead the Inhouse Executive Search Capability

• Continuously enhance CYBEX's internal Executive Search function.
• Personally lead strategic searches for Director, Senior Director, VP, and selected C-Level positions.
• Reduce dependency on external executive search providers through internal capability building.
• Design search strategies for business-critical and confidential leadership appointments.
• Develop high-quality executive talent pipelines across key functions.

Strategic Talent Intelligence & Market Mapping

• Build talent maps for critical capabilities and future succession needs.
• Analyze competitor organizations and relevant talent markets.
• Advise senior stakeholders on talent availability, compensation trends, and organizational benchmarking.
• Translate business priorities into proactive workforce planning initiatives.

Partner with Executive Leadership

• Act as trusted advisor to the CEO, SVP HR, Executive Board, and senior leadership team.
• Influence organizational decisions through talent insights and external market intelligence.
• Support succession planning and leadership development initiatives.
• Guide hiring managers through complex leadership hiring decisions.

Executive Assessment & Selection

• Conduct executive-level interviews and leadership assessments.
• Evaluate candidates against leadership competencies, cultural fit, and growth potential.
• Partner with assessment providers where appropriate.
• Ensure consistent and objective hiring decisions across senior leadership appointments.

Drive Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Leverage data, AI-enabled recruiting technologies, and talent analytics to improve recruiting outcomes.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation.
• Stay ahead of market trends in executive search, talent acquisition, and employer branding.
• Position CYBEX as an employer of choice within relevant talent communities.

Your stroll to CYBEX:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
• Multiple years of experience in a combination of Talent Acquisition, Executive Search and Leadership Recruiting.
• Significant experience leading Talent Acquisition teams in an international environment.
• Proven track record of successfully hiring Director, VP, and C-Level talent.
• Experience gained in both executive search and corporate Talent Acquisition environments is essential.
• Experience recruiting for Product Management, Engineering, Innovation, Digital, or consumer goods organizations is a strong advantage.
• Fluency in English and German
• Deep expertise in executive search methodologies and market mapping.
• Strong understanding of organizational design and leadership assessment.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills at Executive Committee level.
• Strong analytical and commercial mindset.
• Experience working with recruiting technologies and talent analytics.
• Strong knowledge of modern sourcing and direct search strategies.
