Head of Aesthetic Division / Business Unit (m/f/d)
Your Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Growth

  • Define and execute a growth strategy for the aesthetic (devices portfolio), aligned with global/regional corporate goals.
  • Identify and penetrate high-potential markets and segments and new product categories within medical aesthetics.
  • Drive product lifecycle and portfolio strategies including new product launches, enhancements, and end-of-life transitions.

Commercial Management

  • Lead the sales and marketing strategy to grow revenue, market share, and brand equity.
  • Drive pricing strategies, channel development, and customer acquisition models.
  • Establish partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), clinics, and distribution partners.

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure cross-functional coordination across regulatory, clinical affairs, quality, and supply chain.
  • Monitor competitive activity and ensure rapid, strategic responses to market shifts.
  • Maintain compliance with medical device regulations (FDA, CE, MDR, etc.) and company SOPs.

Financial Oversight

  • Full ownership of business unit financials including revenue forecasting, budgeting, and margin optimization.
  • Manage capital allocation, operating costs, and ROI for all initiatives.

Team Leadership

  • Build and lead a high-performing team including sales and product managers
  • Foster a results-oriented and compliant culture focused on excellence, innovation, and customer value.
What Sets You Apart
  • Degree in Business, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in the medical device industry, with at least 5 years in aesthetic, dermatological, or energy-based device markets
  • Deep understanding of clinical workflows, customer needs (physicians, aestheticians, patients), and competitive landscape
  • Demonstrated success in launching new technologies and driving commercial scale-up
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory pathways (FDA 510(k), CE Mark, MDR) and clinical evidence generation
  • Experience working with physician networks, clinics, and/or distributors in the aesthetic industry
  • Hands‑on mentality with a proactive, solution‑oriented approach
  • Fluent in German and English
