Overview

Stellenbeschreibung

Intro Location: Hamburg / Lisbon (remote-friendly within Europe). We are looking for a Global Sales Manager to drive MicroHarvest’s growth in high-potential petfood markets. By building partnerships with petfood producers and distributors, you will make our sustainable protein a reality in products that feed millions of pets worldwide. You will work on an exciting opportunity to create impact: bringing sustainable, high-quality ingredients into the fast-growing petfood industry, and proving that natural fermentation can change what pets eat for the better. You’ll join a passionate, international team of entrepreneurs, scientists, and commercial leaders — all united by a mission to deliver better protein.

Responsibilities
  • Open doors: Identify and connect with petfood producers, distributors, and brand partners.
  • Build partnerships: Engage with customers on how our products translate into clear business benefits.
  • Grow sales: Guide customers from first contact to signed deals, supported by our technical experts.
  • Further improve our value proposition: Work with our Marketing Team to create new compelling product presentations, samples, and campaigns.
  • Be the customer’s voice: Partner with our Head of Commercial, Operations, and I&D to ensure customer needs translate into real product value.
  • Build actionable insights: Work closely with Business Intelligence to further shape our strategy, by tracking market trends and understanding customer needs.
Requirements
  • Experienced in petfood or animal nutrition sales (2–4 years), ideally with a strong network.
  • Experienced in building relationships, closing deals and delivering customer value.
  • Able to translate product technicalities into clear business benefits.
  • Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
  • Willing to travel (20–30%).
  • Excited to work at a startup pace: proactive, hands-on, and adaptable.
