Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Business Planning
- Develop and implement a regional strategy aligned with global objectives.
- Lead annual budgeting and performance planning across key metrics including portfolio growth, talent development, product launches, and compliance.
Commercial & Operational Excellence
- Full P&L ownership for the DACH region.
- Build agile commercial structures, including field force optimization and CRM-driven sales processes.
- Oversee demand planning, forecasting, and supply chain operations.
Market Development & Growth
- Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and IP landscapes to identify growth opportunities.
- Lead product launches and business development initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Represent the DACH region externally with customers, authorities, and community stakeholders.
- Actively contribute to regional leadership alignment and operational synergies.
People Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing, cross-functional team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Educational Background
- University degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related discipline; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is strongly preferred.
Industry Experience
- Extensive leadership experience within the pharmaceutical sector, ideally spanning both commercial and operational domains.
- Deep understanding of the healthcare systems in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
Language Proficiency
- Fluency in German and English is essential for effective cross-border collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
