A leading tech firm is seeking a Fusion Developer for driver assistance systems, focusing on designing and validating algorithms using various sensors. The ideal candidate has a background in engineering and is proficient in C/C++. Responsibilities include software development for perception and localization, as well as analyzing system performance. Excellent English skills and teamwork abilities are essential. This position is based in Munich, Germany.
Fusion Developer : Algorithm developer / software developer (m / f / d) for driver assistance systems, parking systems and highly automated driving
develop and validate end-to-end algorithms for ADAS and parking functions towards highly automated driving, using ultrasonic, Radar, camera and Lidar sensors as well as odometry and GPS data
designing, implementing, adapting and testing software modules for signal processing, environment model representation, ego motion estimation, localization and related sub systems
Completed engineering studies or sciences, specialization in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, automotive engineering, aerospace engineering, mechatronics, mathematics, physics, ...
Practical experience and knowledge in one of the following areas : Statistical signal processing, state estimation, sensor fusion, object tracking, localization
Strong competency in algorithm design and development
Excellent programming skills in C / C++
Teamwork, social skills and a determined, structured way of working
Very good English language
Design, implement and maintain software components for perception, environment model representation, ego-motion estimation, vehicle localization as well as situational assessment
Consider algorithmic complexity, reuse and scalability
Analyze behavior and performance of the related driver assistance and parking systems in the vehicle
Specify system and software component interfaces
Support the system and software integration
Present and demonstrate the work results towards customers and management
Respect internal development guidelines and processes
