Overview

For our client, an innovative company in its sector, we are searching for a (Senior) Backend Engineer - Elixir (f/m/d) as soon as possible

Responsibilities

• Work as (Senior) Frontend Engineer within an autonomous and agile eCommerce product team


• Take charge of the estimation of a request, the development and QA, and the monitoring during operation


• With the product team you will assess business cases, suggest possible technological solutions and contribute towards the definition of the tech strategy of eCommerce Engineering


• The continuous advancement of eCommerce products regarding security, reduction of complexity, enhancement of cost efficiency, performance and usability are also part of your tasks


• Further development of our clients web shop landscape with more than > 300 stores as well as the development of new stores


• Analyze market developments and technological trends to assess their potential application for our client


• Share your know-how, e.g., in the form of trainings, presentations or workshops, which you prepare yourself

Qualifications

• Knowledge in frontend development with modern technologies and experienced in implementing complex UI components


• Familiar with JavaScript and JS Frameworks such as React and Node


• Solid understanding of Shopify and general eCommerce and consumer marketing technologies


• Experience working with REST, GraphQL, microservices, Git, CI/CD etc.


• Knowledge of Go programming language and PHP and experience with template engines such as Liquid or Twig are a plus


• Confident and natural reading, writing, and speaking English; German skills are a plus
