Qualifikationen

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Strong experience in the area of multiple project controlling.
  • Strong expertise in German HGB (mandatory) and first experience in US GAAP.
  • Ability to prepare, analyse, and interpret capacity planning and resource utilisation.
  • Fluency in German & English (both spoken and written).

Overview

FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT AND CONTROLLER* – MUNICH – FULL-TIME

For our team in Munich in our growing company we offer a position in fincancial accounting with good development opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Overseeing and controlling automotive engineering & IT projects
  • Developing and monitoring project budgets, defining cost structures, and reviewing customer offer calculations with strong focus on profitability and continuous project profitability evaluations
  • Support the preparation acceptance protocols for deliveries of results to the customers
  • Preparation of invoices, accounting of debtors and creditors
  • Develop and optimise reporting & KPIs to our international group, quarterly financial reporting and consolidation
  • Oversee month-end and year-end closing, ensuring alignment with German statutory accounting requirements
  • Support the preparation of the annual reporting (Jahresabschluss)
  • Lead the implementation of new processes and standards in the field of project controlling
  • Prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Support a team of currently 15 Team Leads/Project Managers in the project management office and provide guidance to the subsidiary in Spain
  • Liaison with external tax advisors and accountings Service Providers in Germany and Spain
  • Collaborate with US finance counterparts to align financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP Standards
Qualifications And Skills
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Strong experience in the area of multiple project controlling
  • Strong expertise in German HGB (mandatory) and first experience in US GAAP
  • Ability to prepare, analyse, and interpret capacity planning and resource utilisation, tracking working hours and efforts, as well as calculating hourly rates, tariffs, and cost-saving potentials
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Extensive hands-on experience with financial software like DATEV, knowledge of project management processes
  • Fluency in German & English (both spoken and written)
