Zusammenfassung

Sungrow Europe is looking for a Field Service Technician to join our team in Germany. The role is home-office based with coverage across the North/East, and involves field visits, installations, and ongoing customer support.

You will act as the interface between customers and Sungrow, diagnose issues, and perform on-site maintenance. Fluency in German (C1) and good English, a driving license, and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifikationen

• Must have formal training in electrical trades.
• Experience with medium-voltage switchgear and inverters.
• Proficient in configuring network interfaces and protocols.
• German language at least C1; good English is preferred.
• Willing to be on-call and travel within Germany.

Your mission

Welcome to your new role, as our next Field Service Technician (FST)! This role is centered in the (North)Eastern realm of Germany, so you would be Home-Office based!

You will have a wide array of responsibilities, such as:

• Interface between our customers and Sungrow
• Take ownership of dispatched customer issues.
• Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches.
• Run diagnosis on errors or technical problems.
• Deliver support and contribute service solutions for our customers.
• Perform all on site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks as well upgrades or rework activities.
• Support the Project Management during commissioning and site acceptance services.
• Follow operational procedures, processes and practices as defined, documented and consistently applied.
• Follow the applicable health and Safety instructions and regulations.
• Ensure up-to-date documentation, work instructions and processes for existing and coming service contracts and agreements.

Your profile

• Training as an electrical technician, master electrician (Elektrotechnikermeister HWK) or electrician with relevant professional experience.
• Experience with medium-voltage switchgear, string inverters, central inverters
• Experience with configuring network interfaces and communication protocols
• Ganz klar Deutsch auf min. C1 Niveau, da gehts nicht ohne; english am besten auch noch very well, and we are friends :)
• Willing to work on call duty.
• Experience with Battery Storage solutions is beneficial
• Experience dealing with customers in critical situations.
• Willingness to travel to the Northern sites in Germany.
• Driving license is extremely important to the job
