Your mission

The Michelberger is a unique hotel, restaurant, bar, café, and farm—a multifaceted, lively place for experiences and relaxation in the heart of Berlin, for everyone and for a wide range of occasions. Our versatile events impress with personal service and high-quality catering, precision and flexibility in execution, always tailored to different requirements. We have six event rooms of varying sizes and types, as well as our public and dining areas, which we can incorporate into larger events.

We are currently looking for: Event Sales Manager (m/f/d)

As Event Sales Manager, you will be responsible for offering, planning, and contracting events at the Michelberger Hotel. In your day-to-day work, you will ensure successful and lasting cooperation between external partners, guests, and the hotel. Through smooth and detailed communication with all hotel departments, you will pass on all relevant information.

Tasks:

  • Sales and planning of corporate events such as conferences, workshops, and meetings
  • Sales and planning of celebrations such as weddings, family celebrations, and business dinners
  • Planning of in-house musical and culinary events
  • Creating invoices and follow-upsHandover to event service and coordination of on-site processes
  • Internal communication with all relevant departments
  • Leading the monthly function meeting
  • Collaboration with the sales and communications departments
  • Working with the Protel Air event tool and all Office programs
Your profile
  • Experience in the event industry, preferably in the Berlin market
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Extensive knowledge of upscale gastronomy
  • Fluent in German (C2 level) and English
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Knowledge of Open Table, Vectron, and Protel Air is an advantage
