A leading European software company in Hamburg is seeking an Event Manager to design and execute impactful events. The role requires several years of experience in event planning, strong organizational skills, and fluency in both German and English. Responsibilities include coordinating events from concept to execution, working closely with teams and partners, and ensuring brand representation. This position offers a flexible work environment, excellent growth opportunities, and a robust support structure for personal and professional development.
Building the backbone of European trades together – with AI and voice-first software.
We’re not just building software – we’re on a mission to create space for contractors & tradespeople by equipping them with AI solutions that work the way they do: fast, practical, and voice-first. With Tier 1 Investors from Europe and the US, like Headline and Creandum as well as 20,000+ tradespeople as customer base, we’re scaling across Europe to turn scattered tradespeople into thriving communities. We believe in zero admin, not zero personality – and we build every feature with the people in mind who wear the boots, not the suits. We’re #stoked to shape the future, #together as a team, and #humble in our mission to support the builders of tomorrow.
As an Event Manager, you play a key role in making plancraft tangible and bringing our vision to life. You design and deliver impactful event formats that create real value, excite our target audiences, and strengthen both our brand and community experience.
From day one, you take ownership, ensure smooth operations, build clear structures, and represent plancraft professionally. You collaborate closely with colleagues across functions as well as external partners.
Plan, organize and execute plancraft events end-to-end – from initial concept, scoping and budgeting to on-site execution and structured follow-up.
Work closely and proactively with internal teams and external partners to ensure goals, processes and logistics run seamlessly.
Ensure that all event touchpoints reflect our brand in a professional and consistent way.
Create and maintain clear documentation such as checklists, briefs and playbooks.
Identify optimization opportunities early, develop practical solutions and strengthen efficiency and structure within event operations.
Build trusted relationships with trade fair and event partners and represent plancraft confidently.
Develop new community formats and bring creative ideas that go beyond classic event approaches.
Several years of experience independently planning and executing events or trade fairs.
Strong organizational skills with a structured and forward-thinking working style.
Clear, professional communication and confident stakeholder management.
Ability to design events that create impact and real value for participants.
Strong German and English skills (C1/C2).
Creative mindset and interest in developing new event formats.
International experience collaborating with partners or teams, ideally with a focus on Austria.
Team Spirit: We’re driven by passion, commitment, and a shared mission. Team spirit matters to us — and we make it visible: with three major team events per year, two casual monthly formats at our Hamburg HQ, and a strong recognition culture where we regularly celebrate both the big and small wins together.
Ownership: You’re encouraged to take ownership from day one. In a flat hierarchy and high-trust environment, you’re empowered to make meaningful decisions and drive real impact.
Learning & Growth: We invest in your personal and professional development through a strong feedback culture, a personal learning budget, and targeted enablement formats. Our goal is to help you unlock your full potential.
AI Enablement: Our internal tools and workflows are AI-enabled by design. We support every team and individual in applying AI at the next level in their daily work, including getting your own ChatGPT+ license, of course.
Tech & Tooling: You’ll receive a MacBook, premium over-ear headphones and everything else you need to be effective in your daily work.
Flexibility: Whether remote, hybrid or on-site — you work where you are at your best. Our Hamburg office at Rödingsmarkt (with a rooftop terrace) is always open, and you decide each week how often you come in. Working abroad is also an option.
Recharge: We offer 30 vacation days per year (based on a 5-day week), Dec 24th off, a subsidized Urban Sports Club membership and internal sports meetups.
Mobility: You can lease a JobRad (bike) and receive a subsidized Deutschlandticket or BahnCard.
International Environment: Our team is becoming increasingly international — with colleagues in Italy, France, the Netherlands and Austria — and English is our internal company language.
