  3. To support this ambitious growth, we are seeking a European Used Car & Residual Value Manager to take ownership of residual value strategy across Europe — a mission‑critical role that directly impacts leasing competitiveness, fleet penetration, and long‑term brand strength.
The Role
  1. This is a strategic and entrepreneurial position at the intersection of pricing, leasing, remarketing, and brand positioning.
  2. You will be responsible for building and managing the residual value framework for the European market — ensuring that vehicles remain competitive in monthly leasing offers while protecting long‑term asset value.
  3. Your work will directly influence: Leasing rates / Fleet and corporate sales success / Used‑car performance / Brand perception in the secondary market
Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and manage residual value positioning for all current and upcoming EV models across Europe.
  2. Define RV targets by market, segment, powertrain, and lifecycle stage.
  3. Continuously balance leasing competitiveness vs. long‑term value protection.
  4. Work closely with captive finance, banks, and leasing partners to optimise RV assumptions.
  5. Ensure monthly leasing rates remain attractive without compromising portfolio risk.
  6. Support pricing strategy for retail, fleet, and subscription models.
  7. Build the European used‑car strategy in close cooperation with national sales companies and dealer networks.
  8. Define standards for remarketing channels, B2B auctions, and digital sales platforms.
  9. Drive strong resale performance and controlled supply into the secondary market.
  10. Monitor competitor RV performance, EV depreciation trends, and market dynamics.
  11. Analyse macro‑factors influencing EV values (subsidies, charging infrastructure, legislation, battery tech).
  12. Translate data into actionable commercial recommendations.
  13. Act as the European expert on residual value across Sales, Finance, Product, and Strategy teams.
  14. Support model launch planning with RV input from early concept phase.
  15. Represent the company in discussions with leasing companies, fleet operators, and strategic partners.
  16. Ideal Profile

    2. Strong understanding of EV market dynamics is a major advantage.
    3. Pan‑European exposure and ability to work across cultures and markets.
    4. Fluent English required; additional European languages are a plus.
