We are looking for a strategic leader to join our team.

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Editor-in-Chief to lead our U.S. editorial operations. This role oversees content strategy across digital, print, social, video, and events platforms, adapts global stories for the local market, and drives audience growth and engagement. The ideal candidate is a creative, entrepreneurial leader with deep editorial expertise, a passion for storytelling, and a strong understanding of the luxury watch industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and execute the editorial vision and strategy for WatchTime USA across print, digital, social, and video platforms, aligning local initiatives with global goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire our editorial team, fostering collaboration, creativity, and high performance.
  • Oversee content creation, editorial planning, and workflow management to ensure timely, high-quality output across all channels.
  • Adapt global content for local audiences to increase engagement and reach.
  • Collaborate with sales and events teams to identify and develop revenue-generating opportunities.
  • Represent WatchTime at industry events, client meetings, and on-camera appearances.
  • Manage editorial budgets and resources effectively, balancing editorial ambition with financial goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10-years of leadership experience in editorial, digital, social, or video media, ideally in a global organization.
  • Strong understanding of the watch and luxury industries.
  • Proven ability to craft compelling stories and maintain a consistent brand voice across multiple platforms.
  • Experience managing and mentoring editorial teams, empowering them to achieve high-performance.
  • Strong on-camera presence and experience with video content, as well as proficiency in camera use.
  • Creative and innovative thinker with a record of introducing new editorial concepts.
  • Established industry network and relationships with key opinion leaders.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills; able to balance multiple deadlines and long-term goals.
  • Experience managing budgets and aligning financial and editorial objectives.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Premiere.
  • Fluent in English; German and French skills a plus.
  • Willingness to travel required
