JINGDONG Logistics is seeking a senior Network Planner for Europe to design and optimize the warehouse, hub, and transport network and lead cross-border planning within a fast-growing tech-driven logistics unit.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in European logistics network planning, strong data skills, and English fluency. Willingness to travel and manage a small team is expected to drive efficient, cost-effective fulfillment across Europe.

About The Team

You’ll be joining the JINGDONG Logistics team, which values collaboration, ownership, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Job Responsibilities

1. Network Planning: Responsible for network planning in the European region, mainly including warehouse network planning (warehouse network model, layout, site selection), hub planning (sorting layout, sorting site selection, sorting function positioning), transport capacity planning (transshipment dispatching mode, transportation route and schedule planning), and terminal planning (station planning, site selection, operation mode). It is necessary to build an efficient European logistics network from a global and full-chain perspective.
2. Optimization and Innovation of Network Models: Continuously optimize in network model design, site selection strategies, and fulfillment models; explore innovative models in line with industry trends and business needs to support business expansion or enhance operational efficiency.
3. Network Efficiency Optimization: Based on the entire fulfillment process, identify time and cost efficiency issues and give optimization plans, drive their implementation to achieve enhanced timeliness, cost reduction, and efficiency increase.
4. Rule Formulation and Process Optimization: Develop implementation plans and management standards for the execution of planning schemes and network optimization, clarify cross-departmental and cross-linkage mechanism rules, to ensure the implementation of measures.
5. Department Management: Coordinate the work of the network planning team, assist the department head in project coordination, organizational collaboration, talent introduction and cultivation, etc.

Job Requirements

1. Basic Requirements: Bachelor's degree or above, majors in Logistics , supply chain management，and other related fields.
2. Language Requirement: Fluent in English, capable of using it as a working language for meetings, reports, and project communication.
3. Work Experience: More than 5 years of experience in European logistics network planning, process planning related work (European e-commerce, or large European third-party logistics companies); more than 5 years of experience in team management.
4. Professional Competence: Quickly grasp the development trends of the European logistics industry and the company's business trends, familiar with network resource layout and planning logic. Possess rigorous logical thinking and data sensitivity, good summarization and induction abilities, and data analysis capabilities. Proficient in at least one data analysis tool, such as EXCEL, SQL, Python, etc.
5. Soft Skills: Possess strong project management and cross-departmental coordination abilities, able to adapt to periodic business trips within the European region. Have a structured thinking process, good at summarizing and extracting, and capable of distilling methodologies from projects.
