Job summary

JINGDONG Logistics, part of JD.com, seeks an Operator to ensure safe and efficient operation of machinery in our logistics centers.

The role focuses on handling automated and manual equipment, following SOPs, and maintaining accurate inventory records in a fast-paced environment. Training is provided, with opportunities to grow within a global logistics network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience operating industrial equipment in a warehouse or logistics setting.
• Ability to understand and follow complex written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer literacy for data entry and system interaction.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Commitment to safety practices and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated and manual equipment (forklifts, conveyors, sorting machines, packaging systems).

Job Summary

As an Operator at JD.com, Inc., you will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of various machinery and systems within our logistics and fulfillment centers. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth flow of goods and maintaining high standards of productivity and quality.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor a range of automated and manual equipment, including forklifts, conveyors, sorting machines, and packaging systems.
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on machinery to identify and report any malfunctions or potential issues.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all tasks, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality control measures.
• Accurately track and record inventory movements, material flow, and production data using internal systems.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow, resolve operational issues, and achieve production targets.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with JD.com’s workplace standards.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and staging of materials as required.
• Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge of new equipment and processes.

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or relevant certifications are a plus.
• Proven experience operating industrial equipment, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment.
