Make it happenYOU... are responsible for operating, maintaining, securing and evolving the software deployment and operational IT-infrastructure. Specify, configure and roll out IT-infrastructure for the internal development system and end-user systems in the squadrons of customers in central Europe. Support a strict configuration management process to define and identify baselines of the IT-systems. Assure compliance of the systems with IT-security guidelines like BSI IT-Grundschutz by applying updates, patches and configuration continuously. Update the development systems along the evolution of our Mission Planning Systems. Define processes for reliable and reproducible roll out of new baselines into operation. Be part of a highly engaged development team to evolve maintainability and operability of the IT-Systems and the tool-chain supporting this. Be our forward thinker.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, secure and evolve the software deployment and operational IT-infrastructure.
• Specify, configure and roll out IT-infrastructure for internal development systems and end-user systems in customer squadrons across central Europe.
• Support a strict configuration management process to define baselines of IT-systems.
• Ensure compliance with IT-security guidelines (e.g., BSI IT-Grundschutz) by applying updates, patches and configuration changes.
• Continuously update development systems as the Mission Planning Systems evolve.
• Define processes for reliable and reproducible rollouts of new baselines into operation.
• Collaborate with a highly engaged development team to improve maintainability and operability of IT-Systems and the supporting tool-chain.
• Contribute as a forward-thinking member of the team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science; Master / Diploma or comparable qualification.
• Relevant work experience in securely and reliably operating IT systems.
• Strong collaboration experience with software development teams and integration with their development and configuration processes.
• IT knowledge in Jira, Git, Bitbucket or Nexus.
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code in a Windows environment (e.g., PowerShell, Active Directory, VMware, Baramundi, Ansible).
• Fluent in English; German language skills are ideal.
