Your tasks

• Advising on legal, strategic, and operational data protection issues, including data management and digitization initiatives, for the organization and affiliated companies in defined digital business areas (specifically LAPP Digital Sales Platforms & Processes)
• Review, maintenance, and further development of data protection documentation, in particular the records of processing activities (AVV), and ensuring the data protection compliance of contracts (DSFA, TIA) with internal/external service providers, as well as regulatory requirements such as NIS2, EU AI Act, TISAX, and other relevant standards
• Working closely with internal data protection coordinators, data privacy management, and relevant interfaces within the company at group level.
• Actively helping to shape both operational and strategic data protection measures.
• Supporting and advising the department on all data protection‑related issues.
• Planning, coordination, and implementation of the annual ISMS audit in accordance with ISO 27001, including supplier management with a focus on data protection and IT security, with advice on new requirements.
• Support in emergency and business continuity management.
• Security awareness and culture: Introduction of an awareness platform with campaigns (e.g., phishing, simulations, training programs, Cyberweek).

Your profile

• Several years of experience in a data protection or compliance role, with a thorough understanding of the core elements of data protection law/regulations and the interface with digital and logical security and risk management
• Ideally, you have a recognized data protection qualification(s) and a security qualification
• In-depth knowledge of data protection law, IT security standards, and regulatory requirements
• Experience in dealing with other security, data, or risk regulation systems
• Team player with an independent and results‑oriented approach to work.
• Business fluent in German and English
