An international aeronautics firm in Hamburg is seeking an experienced professional to act as the interface between aircraft manufacturers and clients. This role involves negotiating, managing technical meetings, and ensuring quality control during aircraft delivery. Ideal candidates will have 10 to 15 years of experience in the aeronautical industry, coupled with strong diplomatic skills and the ability to work under pressure. The CAM is the interface between the different partners which are the Aircraft Manufacturer and the clients (buyers of the aircraft) at the following level :
Technical: airframe engine systems etc
Commercial: cabin equipment
Aircraft delivery Activities :
Ensures the reception of the clients
Leads the different presentation or inspection visits
Takes into accounts and handles the remarks made by the clients on the QLB (Quality LogBook)
Negotiate with the clients and / or partners
Transmits the client remarks written in the QLB to the production group checks the conformity of the partner action and monitors the progress Takes part to technical meetings with the clients and the design office
Sends the invitations for the clients visits
Seaks for solutions concerning QLB open points while collaborating with the differents partners and design office
Ensures some checks and controls by delegation of the client
Updates the database used by the Work Package Manager Reporting lines and functional connections :
Operational supervisor : CAM Leader Backup and CAM Leader Internal & external functional connections : client design office
Training - experience :
Fluent Technical English level German / French is plus
Deep technological aeronautical knowledge (aerodynamic and flight mechanics general technology structure aircraft systems flight instruments and electrical installations)
Good knowledge of internal procedures and of the clients procedures
Good knowledge of international relations
Good computer skills
Knowledge of SAP
