Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced logistics professional to oversee international distribution from multiple central hubs. You will create transport orders, coordinate forwarders, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining regulatory compliance.

You will advise on transport modes, calculate freight costs per shipment, and handle claims and invoices with attention to accuracy, working with German and English language communications across borders.

Qualifikationen

• Completed commercial training with forwarding/transport background knowledge or an equivalent qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in logistics or in a similar function (import/export).
• Country-specific knowledge (shipping and export regulations).
• Knowledge of handling dangerous goods.
• Expertise or training in air cargo security.
• Good knowledge of the MS Office suite and SAP.
• Good written and spoken German and English.

Aufgaben

• Operational management of distribution for multiple countries worldwide from various Central Distribution Centers.
• Creation of transport orders for the assigned countries, notification and commissioning of forwarders including handling of transport processes.
• Ensure goods are delivered on time to their destination.
• Consultation and coordination of contracts from the international hubs.
• Advising on mode of transport (air, sea, truck) and calculating freight costs per shipment.
• Review orders for regulatory compliance.
• Point of contact for the country organisations regarding direct handling and related areas.
• Recording and processing of claims for the assigned country and handling returns.
• Verifying freight invoices for accuracy and completeness, including system posting, etc.
