Short description

As a Consulting Engineer, you will be a technical expert in Measurement and 3D imaging devices. You will be responsible for maximizing sales of our High Precision Measurement line in Austria for high-end products such as 3D measurement and in‑line inspection. You will be providing support and expertise, and you will work closely with Clients to understand their technical needs, provide product demonstrations, and support the integration of our products into their production processes. You will be supported by other teams both locally and in our headquarters for the resolution of any complex issues that may arise.

This is a mobile role: you will be based in one of our offices (Vienna or Salzburg), with frequent travel to Clients (3 days per week) throughout all of Austria.

What will be your responsibilities?

• Work closely with Clients in order to maximize sales line growth within specific industries or using specific technologies which demands high technical expertise
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions using your assigned product portfolio
• Provide technical support to clients, including product demonstrations, gathering of requirements, application testing, and troubleshooting
• Provide technical training to clients and our sales teams when necessary
• Keep accurate and up‑to‑date records of client interactions and problem resolution.

What do we require?

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or any other automation related specialization
• Valid driving license and open to travel across the entire country
• Fluency in German (native level) + high level of English (business proficiency)
• Great communication and interpersonal skills
• Good understanding of technical conceptsExperience in programming (C++, Python, PLC, or others) is an advantage
