We are seeking a strategic and experienced Overseas Residential Energy Storage Channel Manager to develop and expand our presence in the German markets. The ideal candidate will not only be responsible for building and managing our distribution network but also possess exceptional competitor analysis and cross-industry learning capabilities to bring innovative perspectives to our channel strategy.

Responsibilities
  1. In-depth Market and Competitor Analysis
  2. Conduct comprehensive research on key competitors, including their channel models, operational strategies, channel policies (rebates, support), and pricing systems. Produce regular analysis reports to provide data-driven support for strategic decision-making.
  3. Cross-Industry Channel Model Research and Innovation
  4. Research and analyze channel models from analogous industries (e.g., Solar PV, Heat Pumps, Smart Home) to identify best practices and optimization opportunities. Identify innovation points and enhancement strategies for our existing channel system through cross-industry benchmarking to boost overall channel competitiveness.
  5. End-to-End Distributor Channel Management
  6. Enforce distributor onboarding criteria by conducting comprehensive on-site evaluations prior to new partner integration.
  7. Conduct regular distributor visits to gain in-depth insights into their business model, sales strategies, and customer management approaches.
  8. Promptly respond to and assist in resolving distributor issues related to sales and marketing activities.
  9. Perform regular audits of distributor inventory levels and turnover rates.
  10. Ensure thorough communication and understanding of all channel policies (including rebate programs, inventory protection, onboarding and exit rules).
  11. Execute the distributor termination process in accordance with established criteria, ensuring a seamless transition upon partnership dissolution.
  12. Installer Network Development
  13. Conduct weekly/monthly installer visits to develop detailed installer profiles and build/maintain a comprehensive installer database. Gather field feedback to provide robust data support for formulating installer support policies.
  14. Cross-Regional Collaboration and Reporting
  15. Collaborate closely with the domestic team, fulfill research requests, and regularly report on progress, market insights, and strategic recommendations.
Qualifications

5+ years of overseas channel management experience in the energy storage, solar PV, or related industries. Experience in the German/Dutch market is preferred.
