Avionics AIT Technician (m/f/d)

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Avionics AIT Technician (m/f/d) to support the assembly, integration, and testing of advanced avionics systems for aerospace applications. Your Tasks
  • Install, route, and secure avionics hardware, wire harnesses, and electrical interfaces based on engineering drawings and standards (ECSS, IPC, MIL-STD).
  • Perform mechanical and electrical integration of avionics units into test setups and flight systems, ensuring shielding, grounding, strain relief, and EMC compliance.
  • Conduct functional, continuity, and end-to-end electrical tests using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and test benches.
  • Identify, isolate, and repair faults during integration and testing phases, supporting engineers in root-cause analysis and resolution.
  • Accurately log test data, integration steps, and quality observations in ERP/work-order systems and dedicated technical documentation.
  • Follow work instructions, schematics, mechanical drawings, and cable lists to ensure consistent quality and configuration control.
  • Actively support process development, tooling trials, and feedback loops to improve build efficiency and test reliability.
Your Qualifications
  • Completed technical training/apprenticeship in electronics, mechatronics, or avionics (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in electrical integration, harness installation, or avionics AIT in aerospace, aviation, defense, or high-tech industries.
  • Proficient in electrical testing and integration techniques; confident with common test tools and reading technical documentation (wiring diagrams, BOMs, test plans).
  • Familiarity with aerospace standards such as IPC/WHMA‑A‑620, ECSS, or MIL-STD is a strong advantage.
  • Precision and quality awareness when handling flight hardware or safety-critical components.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written); capable of operating effectively in a fully English-speaking workplace.
