A management consultancy based in Munich seeks an Associate Manager in Automotive & Digitalization to lead teams, develop client strategies, and enhance business opportunities. The ideal candidate has experience in consulting, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent verbal communication in both German and English. We work in a practice-based organization that allows our consultants, starting at Senior Consultant level, to align with a clearly defined area of expertise. This enables you to develop as a consultant with a strong content profile, deepen your knowledge, and build specialization – while remaining part of our interdisciplinary project business. You will apply your expertise across diverse client contexts and continuously expand it. Our goal: for you to grow not only as a consultant but also as a thought leader in your practice area.
As an Associate Manager – Automotive & Digitalization (f/m/x), you will be part of our Automotive Practice, take on professional responsibility, lead teams, and strategically develop topics. You will identify and develop leads with existing and potential new clients.
Presentation & Moderation: Deliver presentations, moderate discussions, and facilitate workshops, both internally and externally with clients and at events.
Conceptual Work: Develop and implement solution approaches for top-tier clients, agile organizations, and emerging businesses.
Data Analysis: You conduct effective data collection — from defining data structures to interpreting and visualizing results, all the way to communicating insights and deriving recommendations.
Recruiting Activities: As part of the management team, you actively contribute to shaping our culture and our team (e.g., by conducting interviews with potential new colleagues).
Active Coaching: Support the development of project team members — through internal knowledge sharing and by fostering an environment where rapid professional and career development is possible.
Business Development: You actively drive business development efforts (by generating leads and contributing to tender and proposal processes).
Compensation & Benefits:
Monthly gross salary of EUR 6.400,- (all-in, full-time), depending on experience and qualifications

Experience: 3-4 years (or 4-5 years with a bachelor’s degree) of full-time experience in management consulting.
Industry Interest: Curious about the automotive sector, with technical understanding and enthusiasm for topics in engineering, manufacturing, and production.
Language Skills: Excellent German and English (at least C1 level).
Willingness to Travel: 1–3 days per month within the DACH region.
Skills: Strong presentation and facilitation abilities, excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, and solid project management knowledge.
