• Leads a team of Application Engineers
• Serves as the customer's technical contact and reports to the Application Engineering Manager
• Provides professional and disciplinary leadership, coordination, and organizational support for a team of Application Engineers
• Develops and maintains relationships with customers' technical departments nationally and internationally
• Ensures the technical feasibility and standards compliance of customer inquiries
• Acts as the technical interface between the company and the customer
• Represents customer-specific interests within the company and at MD headquarters
• Analyzes the market potential for MD in-house components
• Promotes MD in-house components to customers and obtains approval

Requirements

• Technical or administrative qualification (e.g., diploma, certification, or degree) in a related field
• 5–8 years of relevant professional experience
• Professional working proficiency in English
• Advanced knowledge of the automotive market
• Basic project and sales management skills
• Advanced product knowledge
• Advanced knowledge of automotive processes
• Basic proficiency in MS Office
• Basic knowledge of SAP
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field
• Knowledge of wire harness and PCB design, signal integrity, and electrical interface standards
• Experience in technical project management
• Strong organizational and conflict-management skills
• Fluency in English
• Experience creating 2D drawings using AutoCAD
• Experience in an OEM environment designing and releasing high-speed communication cables or wire harnesses is preferred
• Experience creating 3D drawings using CATIA is preferred
