Job/Position Summary

Responsibilities:

• Shape the Product Roadmap: Contribute to the development of a strategic product roadmap by leveraging in-depth market assessments and aligning with organizational priorities.
• Drive Customer Acquisition: Spearhead initiatives to attract and engage new clients, ensuring seamless onboarding and fostering long-term relationships.
• Provide Expert Consulting: Act as a trusted advisor to senior technical teams, offering expert insights and tailored recommendations to address complex challenges.
• Align Product Development with Market Needs: Guide the product development process by delivering actionable use-case inputs that reflect market trends and customer demands.
• Collaborate on Marketing Efforts: Work with the marketing team for product marketing through the digital channel as well as participation in various events, conferences, etc.
• Develop Competitive Insights: Create and maintain comprehensive competitive analysis materials to benchmark the product’s performance and position against key competitors.
• Identify Strategic Partnerships: Discover and pursue partnership opportunities with third-party solutions to broaden the company’s portfolio and enhance customer value.
• Represent and Publish: Author technical papers, whitepapers, and thought leadership content, and represent the organization at prominent external events to bolster brand credibility and influence.

Requirements:

• Extensive Industry Experience: 10+ years of experience in the Automotive, OEM, Tier 1, or Aerospace sectors, with a deep understanding of industry-specific dynamics.
• Educational Background: Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Automotive Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
• Domain Expertise: Strong knowledge of automotive systems, with specialized expertise in vehicle diagnostics and after-sales services being a distinct advantage.
• Agile Development Experience: Proven track record of working in Agile development environments, effectively contributing to iterative and collaborative projects.
• Software Development Lifecycle Mastery: In-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle, from ideation through deployment and maintenance.
• Technical Solution Expertise: Demonstrated ability to develop technical solutions and confidently present recommendations to executive leadership.
• Hands-On Technical Foundation: Solid background in software development and systems engineering, with practical, hands-on experience in both areas.
• Automotive After-Sales Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of automotive after-sales processes, including dealership technician workflows and potential areas for improvement.
• Expertise in Automotive Protocols: Proficiency in key automotive communication protocols such as UDSonCAN, KWP2000 on CAN/K-Line, UDSonIP, and J1939.
• Familiarity with Emerging Technologies: Knowledge of cutting-edge technologies like cloud computing, data analytics, and AI applications in the automotive field, particularly for prognostics and guided diagnostics.
• Vehicle ECU Architecture: Familiarity with vehicle ECU architecture is a significant advantage.
• Diagnostic Standards Expertise: In-depth knowledge of diagnostic standards such as ODX (ISO 22901), OTX (ISO 13209), MCD-3 D Server, D-PDU API, RP1210, and J2534 are highly desirable.
