With your technical skills and independent way of working, you will support the production of high-quality aircraft components at our customer, a renowned aviation company, in Gilching near Munich as an Aircraft Builder / Production Mechanic. Your meticulous work will significantly contribute to quality and safety in aviation.

Job description

Tasks

• Carrying out activities in accordance with applicable regulations and standards
• Pre-assembly of parts and sub-assemblies, including drilling, countersinking, and reaming
• Applying various joining techniques such as riveting, screwing, and gluing
• Processing different rivet types such as universal rivets, Hi-Lite, Hi-Lok, and blind rivets
• Applying and processing sealing compounds professionally
• Performing rework, repairs, and quality improvements
• Assembling components in series production
• Working in compliance with quality guidelines and documenting systematically

Requirements

• Completed training as an aircraft mechanic (specializing in production engineering) or aircraft structural engineer
• Alternatively, a skilled metalworker with proven additional qualification in a riveting course — joining techniques in aviation
• First professional experience in structural engineering (excluding maintenance activities)
• Knowledge of joining techniques and structural assembly activities
• Good written and spoken English skills
• Regional residence, valid driving license, and own vehicle required
• Willingness to work in 2-3 shift system
• An unrestricted work permit for the EU (not a student visa) is mandatory
